Hypnotherapy and past life regression.
I have finished a course conducted by Dolores Cannon. It is beneficial to do some research about her approach before coming in for an appointment.
It is not a regular approach to Hypnotherapy.
It is more of a spiritual experience and a way to answer existential questions through the use of hypnosis. It is based on the idea that we all have past incarnations and we can access those memories in a state of a trance. The trance puts you in between daydream and sleep. If the trance is deep enough we might be able to contact your subconsciousness (SC). SC is a ‘higher sense of self’ and a part of you that knows you the best, even more than your logically thinking self. SC often answers questions such as:
- What is your purpose in this life?
- What path or people are good for you?
- What is your mission in life?
It can also give suggestions on how to overcome certain difficulties, even what would be the best way for you to quit smoking or lose weight. In some cases, people can be relieved from their medical issues which sometimes can be a result of past life experiences.
Before the session, you should prepare a list of questions that you would like to ask SC. The initial assessment is a normal counselling session and can last around two hours, depending on how much you want to tell me about yourself. And the hypnosis itself can last from half an hour up to two hours, depending on how deep into the trance you go.
What Is Hypnotherapy?
To better understand
Hypnotherapy is an adjunctive technique that utilizes hypnosis to aid in the treatment of specific symptoms or health conditions. Hypnotherapy works by inducing a hypnotic state marked by waking awareness that allows people to experience detached external attention and to focus on inner experiences.
